Nothing speaks to my soul like adventuring through an unknown landscape. Mt. Rainier in Washington state has a special place in my heart, and amplifies my craving for adventure. The majesty of this great mountain speaks to many, but it is also the backdrop to fields of wildflowers, sprinkles of amazing colors that change with each season. My decision to paint this scene was motivated by an urge to seek more adventure in my life, and I hope the piece reminds one of the color and endless possibilities of what nature has to offer.
