This painting was inspired by the overwhelming feeling of peace in the presence of great Carolina Oaks; their wisps of feathery moss, blowing gently with waves of wind. There is something magnificent about the detail and uniqueness of an Oak tree, and I felt compelled to replicate such intricacy through this painting.
