Some people are built for the city. Others are made for quiet evenings in the afterglow: tranquil moments of solitude comforted by the warm glow of candlelight. Creating this piece, I wanted to create a safe, warm space among the frosty cold of freezing winter. Replicating the soft spill of light through one’s window, and onto the blue hue of snow bordering it. A river so dark in the early night, it is almost black. A home so radiant, one will remember the feeling of warmth in the cold.
Details: 9×12. Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. Unframed. Ready to Hang.
